The Beach, of course

In about 3 minutes you can walk north to Napili Bay, in our opinion one of the best beaches on all of Maui. A beautiful sandy beach, crystal clear water and great snorkeling – what else is there?

Check out The Gazebo restaurant at the southern point of Napili Bay – great food in a casual, outdoor atmosphere and a truly incredible view. You can walk north along the coast line to the world famous Kapalua Bay, which also has great snorkeling. We also recommend the Jameson's Grill and Bar (just inside the resort) for a great lunch.

Maui offers many activities beyond the quiet relaxation of the beach. Hana, 52 miles from Kahului is an all day trip filled with waterfalls, camping areas, and unbelievable scenery. The quaint village of Hana is a beautiful reminder of charming old Hawaii.

Upcountry Maui offers horseback riding, bicycle touring, a visit to the volcano area of Haleakala, a visit to a local winery, numerous restaurants & shops in Makawao. You will find this a complete contrast to the tennis & golf scene.

Across island is the lovely area of the Iao Needle where the scenery is breathtaking & walking the paths is an enjoyable and peaceful way to spend a few hours.
